This is a small friendly group that works on different projects on Saturday mornings. Helpful individual tuition and demonstrations are on hand during the session. Learn watercolour techniques and improve your skills with expert advice and assistance (Max 8 students). Amazing cafe and we can borrow the garden centre plants to work on.

All dates are below. These may be subject to change so please check the website before confirming your attendance. All students are added to a Whatsapp student group and will be notified of any changes. Students must inform me via Whatsapp message or text to let me know they are attending as there is a minimum of 4 students per session. Should there be less than four confirming, I will need to cancel the session. You do not have to attend all sessions but you are always welcome!​

February - Saturday 20th - Sunday 21st - Pine cones

All levels welcome - beginners, intermediate
An exercise in complex drawing and mixing browns. Learn how to draw and paint a pine cone. These can be a little overwhelming but with my help, you will succeed! Option to use a unipin pen and watercolour wash instead of watercolour. Bring along some pine cones. My helpful tuition will be on hand all through the workshop. Book online.

April - Saturday 17th - Sunday 18th  - Butterflies, Moths, Beetles and other insects

Watercolour and drawing experience needed
Learn how to apply the finest detail and colour to create your own beautiful insect painting. Take a look under a microscope to see their beauty in close-up. Choose from a huge selection of specimens supplied or bring your own ones along. My helpful tuition will be on hand all through the workshop. Book online. 

June - Saturday 26th - Sunday 27th - Painting petals

All levels welcome - beginners, intermediate

Paint a page of beautiful petals with me. This is an exercise in colour, detail and shape. Learn how to make your petal paintings using various watercolour techniques so that they pop off the page! My helpful tuition will be in hand throughout the workshop. Book online. .

October - Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th - Woodland Treasures, Fungi and Lichen

Watercolour and drawing experience needed

A very popular workshop! We all love the woods! Paint or draw any of the following: Fungi, lichen, an interesting piece of bark, dried Autumn leaves, or perhaps a colourful leafy area on the woodland floor. The choice is yours! Work from a photo or live subjects. Bring along fungi and other woodland treasures.You will receive my helpful guidance throughout the day! Book online. ​
